They Died Laughing Exhibition Statement

Here is what I was thinking...

The world is a dark and twisted place. A sense of humor is essential for survival. If you’re going to die, which we all are, you may as well die laughing. The works in “They Died Laughing” confront the human condition not with pathos but with levity. Life after all is absurd and full of irony.
