Revised Exhibition statement

ROT is a state of deterioration or decay that manifests itself in many contexts of our daily lives. The artists in this exhibit evoke rot from the literal to the abstract as it surrounds us in its many states; be it organic, moral, spiritual, cultural, psychological, social, or some other state of being. Rot is often thought of as an end, yet it can also be the beginning of a new existence.
