Updated Statements

In the post-civil rights era, we have seen the decomposition of communities that in the past helped transmit through the generation’s dignity and decency, excellence and elegance. The result is preoccupation with acquiring pleasure, property, and power, gangster mentality and self-destructive wantonness--dangling people without roots. (Cornell West)

Disenchanted is an interpretation of the slow but gradual decline of humanity.
Because of greed, envy and lust for power, humanity has devolved to animal instincts. There is no longer rational thinking and our actions are, therefore, the cause of our self-inflicted wounds; thus the inevitable end of our gift, Earth.
